How to change the Windows 8 Enterprise Product Key

Once you’ve downloaded and installed Windows 8 Enterprise, you’ll be prompted to activate it, but you may not of entered the key you received from MSDN or Technet yet.

To enter the MAK Key follow the instructions below. The instructions are based on having a non-touch screen device.

1. From the Start Window type cmd.

2. Right click the Command Prompt.

Then the App options will display at the bottom of the screen.

3. Select Run as administrator.

4. Click Yes at the User Access Control Prompt.

5. Type slui.exe 3 in the Command Prompt window. The Windows Activation window should appear.

6. Enter the MAK key.

7. Finally, click Activate.

UPDATE 22/08/2012:

If you need to activate multiple machines rather than individual machines, try taking a look at the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 8.
