In this post I’ll show you how to disable reading pane replies in Outlook 2013.
If you use the reading pane in Outlook 2013 the default action on replies and forwards is to edit the message within the reading pane. If you want to change this so that all replies and forwards open in a new window here’s how.
Select the File menu and then click Options.
Select Mail from the left hand column, and then in the right hand pane scoll down to Replies and forwards.
Tick the check box labelled Open replies and forwards in a new window. Click OK.
All replies and forwards will now open in a new window.
